HIKING GEAR: Maps, boots and waterproofs

The girls
Heidi (8) and Harriett (10) sporting their Hi-Tec walking boots

By Tim Saunders

As the pandemic continues to curtail travel in 2021, my family and I are spending time getting closer to nature by hiking throughout Dorset and Hampshire with the help of some Ordnance Survey maps, Hi-Tec walking socks, boots and rucksack, lightweight waterproof wear from Jack Wolfskin and cosy Cotton Traders fleeces.
